I saved these pics because this was one unique Mirada.
I often wonderd if this scoop & spoiler was a factory option
or a special edition. I have never seen another one like it.
Maybe some experts here can answer this question.

Yeah i didn't think the hood pins were factory.
what do you think that scoop was off of?
They did a real nice job. I tried to post a close up
of the scoop, couldnt do it. But looking at it closer
it doesnt look added on. Could you buy fiberglass
hoods for them back then?
 
Still do. The make front clip with one piece fenders and nose. They got a one piece rear clip that is the bumper, tail lights, license plate surround and quarter extensions. They have the trunk lid too.

They can do carbon fiber too $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The Hornet scoop would look good on the
80 Diplomat Coupe.
Do you know of any M-Body fiberglass
hood makers?
 
I do not know but you can get a Summit or Jegs steel weld on scoop. I think AMD makes them. I have grafted fiberglass scoops onto steel hoods and i can tell you that i will do the steel scoops from now on. LOL Its just easier and lasts longer.
 
Spoiler looks to be off of an 82-up Firebird. I used that spoiler on my CMX. No factory spoiler, hood scoops or hood pins were available from the factory.
