Window regulators interchangeability 2 door

Are window regulators interchangeable front-to-front from the 4-door and 2-door M body If not where to get it or the parts? I have a Plymouth Caravelle coupe driver-door regulator that isn't working right. I think it's a roller or something don't feel like gears. Also, Here's a little something I found out when I got home from heart surgery. For some ungodly reason, someone tried to steal my rear shocks off my car. Also, Just a thought what other rear axle will fit the M body? thinking of going to a 360 with 727 short trans from the 318 /727 short trans.

Nope, 2dr and 4dr are different. 2dr F-body and 2dr M-body will interchange. Almost have to pull the door trim panel and see exactly what's broken first.
Are the windows electric or human powered?

Thank you Aspen500 What gets me is the car is considered a high-dollar car in Canada VIN being BH22G3G. here it's a Barracuda high buck car it has power nothing. It has manual windows a bench seat and no A/C' 78 Caravelle coupe but it's like my 73 Duster manual Windows.

It sounds like it needs the replacement gear package for the window motor.

That info wasn't there yet when I replied.
The regulators themselves rarely fully go bad so I agree with your post about needing to get in there to see what's going on.

I've often wondered why they pop up in the States. There are a couple yards in Pennsylvania that have a few. I would think it would just make things more complicated when importing the car unless it was done after the car turned 25

Well, I was pretty well-medicated and up too late looking for a car on eBay. looking for a car preferably a 78 Volare Roadrunner or Lebaron as I had at Ft Gordon GA. but nothing then I saw the Caravelle and figured a boat tail is a boat tail. I figured I'd bid 50 bucks and lose like before other cars. well, it showed up in the back of a trailer with a helicopter. then about 1/2 hr convincing the Maryland DAMV that BH22G3G wasn't a 1978 318 Barracuda.

The RWD Caravelles are kind of unique.

The window crank is held on by a hex screw, you might check that it hasn't backed away from it's splines. Mopars are good medication, get well soon.

sweet that might be easier to find. shoot at step anymore I think I'd rather trade this thing for a 78 to 80 Volare as they both have a smooth ride. thanks for the info.
