I'm set to clean up the wiring under my Imp's hood. I want to get rid of a ton of the wiring that the EFI system was using, since the car will only go back to EFI by using an aftermarket system. I don't want to just hack the wiring back, I want the wiring GONE. Anyone done this, or have pointers?

Imperial is getting new wheels! Problem is, it's because yours truly has been running wheels meant to go on an '84 D150 since 2005. I can't balance them out because they are so close to the control arms that weights get knocked off, even with a 1/4" spacer. I would like to stay 15x8 up front...

Ok, the header in the Imperial is holding me up. Any ideas on how to get it in there (preferably without dismantling the steering components)?

1. Can someone get me good pics of the fuel flow meter installed? I know it's near the carb, and that's about it. 2. On the fuel tank, the factory wiring has two connectors: blue/purple/gray for the main connector and a green for the fuel pump, I believe. What do I do with the green wire?

The indicator on the '83 is reading both P and R in Park and the backup lights are on. I know I patched the wiring correctly. Anything else this could be...indicator connector maybe?

I'm calming down now. There is NO fuel or fuel tank in the car. Don't judge my stupidity, it's there to see.
