So cold we're using Kelvins and it's at 250 Kelvins.
Yogis killed a polar bear by the Moose Factory.
First polar bear watch this season has been issued.

It was a balmy 5 Fahrenheit on the drive in this morning, or about -15 celsius. No polar bears around here, I don't think they like swimming the Great Lakes so much..

Haven't been real world tested yet.
After the Yogis shot one by the Moose Factory, local officials got all panicky and sent out the polar bear patrol.

Know it's cold when I drive 30 miles and my temp gauge never went over 1/4 at all.

Got up to +12 with clear sky and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NO WIND(!!!!).
Strange how it didn't seem too bad out. All perspective I suppose.

On the weather this morning the meteorologist said the chances of us dropping below zero again this season are slim to none and it's supposed to be back to "normal" by Friday. The normal high is 28 btw. Works for me!

It's still real cold here.
There's something up when I see Bear Force One flying.
They wouldn't be flying if there where no polar bears.
A lot of snow owls and bison been showing up lately too

Found out they had Bear Force One out because there where 6 polar bear cubs spotted and no mother around.
Natives took care of them.

Still cold, but the streamers have stopped for now.

Wasn't bad here today. The sun actually peeked out and it's hanging just above freezing. I'll take that for January.

Had an average ordinary day. Sunny, high of 26 and no wind. Average high for Jan 22nd is 26 degrees. Sunday, supposed to have low 30's(!!!!) A regular freaking heat wave!

Sitting around 15° this morning but the sun is finally out. Supposed to be around freezing tomorrow. Good day for an oil change.

Well, they said a few days ago we shouldn't get below zero any more this year. So far, they're right,,,,,,barely. Woke up to +1 about 5:30am. Was clear when I left about 7am to do my Saturday morning crap (bank, hardware store, grocery, gas station, etc). About 7:30 the fog started rolling in from who knows where, quick. By the time I got back home about 9am I couldn't see my house from the street (80 feet away). What the heck??? Started to clear out about 10:30 and now (10:40) the sun is out and it's mostly clear. Quick to come, quick to go I guess.

Sunny and a great 51 here today with a high of 55 tomorrow. Great day for the range tomorrow and a drive in the Aspen when I get back.

40 here today, I just saw someone in sweatshirt and shorts.
I dug a path to get the motorcycle out, but was too lazy to actually ride it. It's supposed to "warm up" again Saturday, so maybe then..
