Et stayed the same, 10.7's but got 2 more mph out of it.

Finally had good air, around 2000'.

One more kick at the can this Sunday, hope the air stays good.

Joe, you are the first one to mention a power adder...............

I know I asked you some info before. How wide is your rear tire and how soft is the compound? Just had a coworker switch from an 8.5 mickey thompson to a 9 inch hoosier. The hoosier was a grade softer and he picked up 1/2 a second.

yes it sure does. it's major fat on fuel side. 10.50's easy with tuning. to bad the season is over but next year will be fun.

slant6er, D06 compound. these hoosier have not given me the 60' the my mickey t did. once these hoosiers are done, i'm back to mickey t's.

Thanks man. You got a lot more smallblock than me, so I know where to gauge. I do have a little sneaky pete NOS system, that was hoping to go into the SS/T. Perhaps I can set it up for both. Both can handle the 40 hp shot with out breaking anything. I've got a much harder compound so I'll need to heat the tires for sure

People can say what they want about cheating , but I had a little 340 valiant race car last year that would go 10.32 @ 129. with a 1.36 60 ft time. Fast is fast don't give a damn how you get there. !!!!!

your right Joe, fast is fast. i don't think it's cheating. i'm adding power with nos instead of getting a big cubic inch stroker. you got a 422'' to hit the 10's, i got nos to hit the 10's.

my motor dynoed 560 @ 7400 rpm with out nos, i'm happy with that. i wanted to see what i could get with a small shot and now i know.

slant6er, i don't sit and smoke my tires, a that just wears the slicks down. i start in 2nd gear. once i hit 7000 rpm i hit 3rd and hold for about 4 seconds at 7200 rpm then release brake and keep the rpm at 7200 rpm till i'm past the water box, usually 25' rolling burnout.
