Well, going by the radar it looks like you'll be spared all the precipitation we got over the last 24 hours... I hope that's true for your sake. Guesstimate is that we've already gotten around 8" and it's still coming down. Grrrr...

You must be pretty far down "the mitten", Monkeyed. My sister is from Indian River and said last Wednesday there were still snowbanks taller than her...
The ice that's on water/at water level won't raise the water level when it melts, though. Its mass is already displaced by sitting in/on the water. Precipitation and snowbanks are your enemy now...Only problem is there's still lots of ice left on the lake to thaw yet.
Yikes!!

Bring a boat, waterskis and a camcorder. I'll give you $100 if you can stick the landing on the fold-down step on the first try. :icon_biggrin:
$200. $150 if you let me drive the boat--I was raised in a waterskiing family. $500 if you let me drive the boat and pretend you're my older brother. :eusa_dance:
That sounds quite pretty, especially if the weather agrees. It better be nice tomorrow! I've got to spend three hours on my feet, next to a lake, participating in re-enactments of the stations of the cross.
You must look for the silver lining. You likely won't have to buy a burn permit. :eusa_doh:
At least there aren't any dock fees yet! Sorry, I couldn't resist!
