They essentially leave me alone, too. They land on my dog a lot, but they get frustrated trying to penetrate her dense coat and just leave.

I was shovelling snow off my driveway when I saw the little jerk. My driveway's in constant shade and there's still a good 2' of snow back there.

That's nuts.
You got some badass mosquitos there.
Even the one's up north don't start this early.
Mind you.....I haven't been up there since November. :eusa_pray:

The mosquitos up here are so large they have FAA numbers on them and show up on radar.

Well the big thaw has gone down without too much issue here in the big city
But up north where my trailer is the flood is on.
We have a little snack bar in the trailer park that now apparently has an indoor swimming pool.....the lake has leveled off so our trailers have been spared.
This is the front of my sister's taken yesterday.

We got a couple of inches of snow last night, and apparently the weather was like that almost throughout Wisconsin. This winter will not go down easily.

Awoke to let the dogs out. The ground was covered once again with snow. If I were shooting Christmas card pictures, I wouldn't mind. But I want to work on my car. So I do mind! The wife's multi-colored flower bead are all one color now, WHITE!

I'm thinking nukes are the only solution.

Winter storm warning here, from 10AM-10AM tomorrow. As much as 14" possible.

I've always said we're not safe until the calendar reads "June"...

we had an inch of snow yesterday, 40s today, 50s the rest of the week, and 60s next. I'm taking an Advanced Rider's Course saturday, really hoping it doesn't rain!

You must be pretty far down "the mitten", Monkeyed. My sister is from Indian River and said last Wednesday there were still snowbanks taller than her...

I'm heading up north Saturday to see if I have a trailer or a houseboat.
The lake is still rising and two towns close by are pretty much a swimming pool now....

Here's two shots of my buddy's trailer site.
One from four days ago.
And one from yesterday.
