Only about 1" here on Monday night. It's all melted already. This weekend is supposed to be upper 40s or even in the 50s. My wife's car is getting kicked out of the garage for the summer, finally!

It was just cold here but they're taking a beating out east.

High in the low 40's today and lots of rain coming.
Which is perfect....wash all the salt away and I'll be one step closer to getting the cars out of hibernation.....
And I sure as hell can't complain about rain compared to what they're getting in the maritimes right now.... Their storm started yesterday.
So far they've had 2 feet of snow with 90 mph wind gusts.
I have a friend on another forum from PEI..
The first pic is looking out his window yesterday when it started.
The second pic is this morning.....

Snowing to beat hell back home, but I'm in Kentucky and it's in the mid-50s. Heavenly to get away from the snow & cold for a few days...

Well I know my friends in the maritimes are still getting crappy weather
But here we've had three straight days of sun and highs around 50°
Still chilly for the beginning of April but compared to what we we're getting I ain't complaining....now we just need a good rain to get rid of the salt
Then the cars come out of hibernation....

Looking at a high of 40°, which I term acceptable. Anything that melts this snowpack is fine. However, we're supposed to get snow Friday. :eusa_doh: Forecast is for temps in the mid-40s all next week, though, so I'm hopeful. That's not too bad for this time of year locally.

It's all coming together now.
Lots of rain coming overnight tonight and tomorrow.
Wash away that salt and the cars can come out to play!!!

I'll say one thing for Ol' man winter.....
The kid's got staying power.
Just doesn't want to give it up.
Woke up this morning to a dusting of snow.
Into April and the miserable old geezer is still trying.
Won't work sucker....sunny and a high of 50° tomorrow.
Give it up already......

We got about 6" yesterday. It'll probably all be melted by Sunday night.

Not sunny, but expecting the same temps. Last night, the temperature did not drop below freezing. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that was the first time that's happened since, I dunno, the moon landing or something. It's been a long, cold winter.

I washed and waxed my Fifth today
Which means....it's gonna rain tomorrow
Which is part of my plan.....
One more good rain and I can pull the cars out......
Yah!!

They are calling for +17C tomorrow (mid 60s Fahrenheit). Had 10C today (50F), so its possible, but wouldn't be surprised to see them get it completely wrong, either.

Kostas

The high today is expected to be 57°F, which is awesome... except the snow is melting so fast we're having flooding issues. I have a moat around my garage and need to get my engine blocks off the floor before the encroaching water gets to them.

Indeed!!
Get those babies to safety.

Around 50° here with mondo rain coming.

It was so nice here, one of the ginormous lakes in my yard actually dried, and it was the one flooding the south end of the garage. There was much rejoicing until I saw a mosquito. Those little bastards certainly don't waste any time, do they? A couple of decent days, and here they come...

A mosquito already!!!???

Yep. It's going to be a dandy year for 'em, too, with all the moisture and standing water around since we had literally zero melt during the winter. One more big freeze around the end of April would really do us some good.

It's gonna be nuts at my trailer up north this year.
I don't mind too much myself.
I think my blood is to toxic for them.
Our vegetarian neighbor is like a walking sirloin though.
Figure that one out....
