Today I will be finishing the repair on the Hellraiser that I started a few days ago. It was a large dent from a side impact. had to be pulled hammered straighened, and the door had to be adjusted...working on the body filler now. so almost done and we just ordered the Epoxy primer from Eastwood...should be getting that soon..On the Blackbird I have nearly got the tail panel welded in and once that is finished I will be truck bedlining the trunk and rubber coating the underside, and installing the new tank.

The Kardasian butt to butt transplant is complete. I measured the tail panel and it is only off by a 1/16th but that is due to a slightly warped trunk lid not the tail panel it self. I say 1/16 is provably a better tolerance than was given out the door of the factory so I am very happy... here is a video of the Black Bird

No one will notice the 1/16" of an inch. That was probably Wednesday tolerance for Chrysler, Friday or Monday they'd have probably been lucky to get that! Lookin' good!

Thanks guys I was really sweating that tail panel...I just need to dress up the edges and patch a few holes and wire it up. Its allot of work but I just keep telling my self it will be totally worth it when I am driving down the street and I will be giving people whiplash because..."You just don't see one of those every day"

When you look at that car when you first got it.....
I don't know a lot of people who wouldn't either pass on that car or just send it to the crusher....I've heard a lot of people say they won't even consider a rusty car. The fact that you've done and are doing the amount and level of work you are to bring it back gets a major tip of the hat from me.

I myself have never thought just because a car has battle wounds it should be discarded. My Caravelle was a rotbox and still needs more work. Many have told me I should cut my losses and start with a nice rust free car.
Where's the fun/adventure in that? I thought the idea behind this hobby was to rescue, revive and preserve these babies......

Once again. Awesome work and kudos to you for saving this one from becoming another hyondayota fender.

Exactly the very thought of any Mopar going to the crusher makes my blood boil...Mopar steel does not belong in a f*ggot @$$ hyondayota. Those cars make me want to blow chunks...

You may have noticed the orange KIA in the driveway.... I HATE THAT CAR!!! :icon_puke_l: it sthe same problem I have with all the cars like it. no leg room, no power, WORSE gasmilage than the feather duster which got ....drum roll....36 MPG

that 1.6 liter POS is lucky to get 30 MPG on a good day my point is the car market has gone from quality to disposable. there are 2 NEW cars on the market that I would drive the first being the Challenger and the second pic is the new Mustangs..I know F!@# Mustangs but hey they are making some good lookin cars now...now that I said that I have to say this...I would rather suck on a urinal puck than roll around in a new Camaro not only is it UGLY but it is a POS... my father is a GM master mechanic and he agree's...POS he got the Mustang LOVES it.Asian cars now thats a different story how can a 6ft 2in man fit into a car designed for a 5ft person and expect it to feel right. every time I buckle into the KIA I get that Mario Kart feeling.... and the back seat....how can you...you know...these new cars are lame...and the newer they get the more I want to mount heat seekers on the hood of mine...

That was so funny I almost exhaled beer through my nostrils reading it.
Man....if anyone despises the new garbage out there as much as you it's me.
Gutless disposable garbage shaped like a dog turd that's been on a scorching sidewalk in a Georgia heatwave. I can't stand them. Won't drive them. All my neighbors joke about it that I won't even be seen in one. And the only way you can tell them apart is by the badging.

Look at my list of cars in my signature.....that's all I own is old Mopar.
And my daily is a Fifth Ave. Wouldn't trade them for anything.
These are "cars"....not "vehicles".

Wanna talk gas savings?
My daily driver with purchase price and upgrades was under $2000. Your POS hyundaiyota was $32,000...that leaves me $30,000 for gas.

My sister just got a Prius ... she could not understand when I told her that the batteries in that car have a higher carbon footprint than owning a Hummer for 5 years.because the nickle is mined in China and Shipped to the toyota plant in the US where is then processes and shipped to the dealership .I told her that and she was like nuh uhh.... but its the truth and its a slow ugly booger buggy to boot. omg ok at least we KNOW the truth and yes after making 200+ per month payments you would be spending more that you would on gas for a...HUMMER. we are talking 7 MPG lol...30,000 for a plastic jelly bean..give me a break...
