I can only get a blank white screen :( Probably caused by my "fast, reliable" Frontier DSL (give me a minute to stop laughing uncontrollably at that statement).

Anyone who owns the hotrod 5th should have a big block in there, or on hell of a screamer small block to go with that staggering personality!

Just because the computer is still on the air cleaner doesn't mean it's hooked up.
I still have one on my 86 F/A but I run MSD.

88, I wonder what's the deal with the E test running a 'non stock' ignition?
Then you'll get the three catalyst rule.
Reason I stick with 87 and older.

Do you guys have to get emissions tested? Kind of sounds like it, or am I reading something into nothing, lol!

All we have in Wisconsin is down in the southeast part of the state (Milwaukee county and surrounding counties) and even then vehicles are exempt if they're 1996 model year or older (20 years).

Ontario-1987 and newer e test for life.
88 and 89 M's are considered parts cars with my M people.

Yep. More pain than it's worth so a mint M winds up being a donor car. It's ridiculous. Part of their plan to get the good stuff off the streets so you have to buy disposable garbage.

I'm sorry, but most of his write up cracks me up.

check this out! my car is in grand theft auto san andreas! AND its painted too finaly!Hey my name is Eric and this is my 1986 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. Otherwise known as my Hot Rod Grocery Getter. The car started as your dime a dozen daily driver. It left Michigan with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, delay wipers, light package, the very plush dark blue crushed velour interior, aluminum snowflake wheels, and was painted silver with a silver padded landau top. This is the most current picture of what it looks like now.The car was handed down to me by my mom and dad in need of a transmission. I had it rebuilt and then decided that this car wasn't as bad as I thought it was so I put 3" lift shackles and air Shocks on the back. Then topped it off by Putting Appliance (Cragar look alikes) wheels on with 245/60 14 BF Goodrich tires on it. That gave the car a hole new image that was better than I ever expected it to be.Since then I have added a molded in L-88 cowl induction hood scoop,a 1981 Pontiac Firebird rear decklid spoiler, poorly tinted the windows, added an APC steering wheel,a Jensen CD Player with new speakers, blacked out the grille and just recently the tail lights, my best friend just made me a new black vinyl top, I comletely redone the trunk with truck bed liner, and am now starting to paint the entire car 2002 Chrysler Steel Blue with extra green/blue pearl.I work in a body shop so I know how to do everything the correct way. Every modification I have performed myself with the exception of the vinyl top. The engine is mostley stock but I have taken off every part of the smog and emissions equipment. Added high performance plug wires, disconnected all the air conditioning parts, and put an edlebrock air cleaner on it. BUT the best part of the entire car is the exhaust system. Origionaly it had 3 catylitic converters, a very large muffler, and a resonator all on single 2" exhaust. Now it is as follows: Hooker Compition headers, a 2 1/2" Flowtech X crossover pipe, and 2 chamber delta series flowmasters with no tail pipes, it just ends infront of the rear axle. This car is ussually the loudest car on cruise night by far. Just Idling it sets off most car alarms. My future plans are to finish painting it, install a 395 horsepower crate 360 engine, and put 15x7 and 15x10 Cragar SS wheels with 235/60 and 295/50 tires on it. This is one of my favorite cars of mine and I plan on keeping it and show/racing it for a long time. thanks for looking and I will try to update it as I go along. NEW ITEMS: custom molded six pack scoop, 15x10 and 15x7 Cragar SS wheels, 295/50 and 235/60 tires, and loads of others and closer to paint than before.

Yup. He's a body man so he knows how to do things right.

Add three inch shackles that now make the ass feel like it's on ice even with the most gradual of curves at low speed. Air shocks that are gonna beat the hell out of the upper mounts. And don't forget how much faster the "performance spark plug wires" and Edelbrock air cleaner with flowmasters must make that 318 2bbl.

This car says "ricer" all over it. It's the same shit as kids cutting the coils down on a Honda, installing a fart can, putting a lawn mower handle on the trunk think they're bad ass. It don't handle, sounds annoying, looks like shit, and ain't fast.

They sound like putz'es, and have warped ideas, but these are the kids that will save our cars, in some form for the next generation, after us old farts are dead, and gone. We did some crazed stuff with cars, at their age, but that is how you learn; and they too will learn.

Not disagreeing with you. But it's up to us, as the older generation, to guide and teach. Does this kid have potential? Sure, with the plans of a crate engine, but someone's gotta teach him how to put power to the ground and that suspension set up is an accident waiting to happen.

I hear about people putting air shocks on these cars all the time.
All you need to do is look at the upper mounts to know that this is not a good idea. For load balancing I can maybe see. But to jack the ass in the air by two ears? No.
