Saturday Night Movies

The old Mopar guys tell me you can push start a old push button Mopar.
'64 and older Chrysler Torqueflites have front and rear oil pumps, so yes, you can push start one of those older tanks - just don’t use a plastic jellybean to push it with.

Can also park on a hill and let is roll down in gear to start it.

Wait just a minute.... is the a Mercedes 450 SL for 20 thousand dollars..... " That's too F#(k'n high............

"Bowling alley..... best salad bar in town"............. Can't even begin to think how they came up with some of the zingers in that movie

Great movie. My middle daughter and I watched it a few weeks back. She couldn't get over the disco promo on tops of the cars with the bad disco tech music.

Watched one of my favorite movies today on TCM. "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". Great movie with greater cars and a good majority are Mopar's to boot! All star cast with a bunch of cameo's too.

I watched that also,Forgot how many stars were in that from another time.

Watched "The Abyss" again last evening. Unfortunately it was the short version. There's an extended version with another 20-25 minutes of scenes and that version makes a lot, LOT more sense, but they rarely show that one.

First time I saw that movie, I was in the movie theater and when they start flooding her diving rig I was sitting as tall in the seat as I could and my chin kept getting higher and higher as if I could keep her from drowning.
Amazing amount of adrenaline.

Agreed, the longer version is much better than shorter version.

Staying up late watching a movie ' Duel at Diablo' .. one of my most favorite cowboy/indian westerns.

If James Garner is in it, you know it'll be good.
I don't know why they put out that short Abyss movie. All the cut scenes are the ones that explain everything. Without them, half the scenes are like "huh?"
Short version, OK movie. Long version, great movie.

Suicide Squad...
Its Friday night and we are watching Suicide Squad.

Brother is watching and pretending not too.
Husband was watching and is now sleeping.
I'm not watching cause it seems like a cross between a bad fantasy movie plot and a loud, cgi loaded sci-fi film with extra dark filming and pitiful dialogue.
Some of the music is good, but brief.
I think I'll go sort clutter in the back room.

The other night I watched " From Dusk 'til Dawn". Think it was on IFC so it wasn't edited for television. Odd movie but also a darn good movie (IMO).

Suicide Squad
Man, what to say about that. I went to see it big screen and wasn’t sure if it was worth what I spent.

I guess if you are one to keep up with the new Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman, then this one ties into that series.

Otherwise, it was, um, well, um . . . OK if you like to see ladies pull shirts up to a point where camera pulls away (before anything is seen).

Glad to see hubby is home (and resting).

Dusk til Dawn.... hmmm?

Try this one....and there is a mopar:

Galaxy Quest. That's one of those movies that sounds stupid on paper but, turned out to be a really good movie.

Watched part of "Smokey and the Bandit" last night. I still say Jackie Gleason makes that movie.
