Can someone post a pic of the correct lug nut for the Mirada / Cordoba 15 x 7 aluminum wheel? I need to find a set of 20, preferring original Mopar parts, new or good used.
Thanks, in advance, for any replies.

1/2"X20 Bulge acorn.... or large acorn
These are a very close duplicate to factory OEM appearance.

I thought they used a 2 piece nut, originally?
Anodized nut with a stainless sleeve over it?
That's what I'm looking to find. Thanks.

YIKES!
Good thing I live in the Detroit area. Those turn up at swap meets for a lot cheaper a set. Now I know what to look for, thank you.

Personally I have no idea why a person would want to use them, I think a new set of McGard nuts would be the way to go.

I don't think there are any Cordoda lug nuts left.

They were used on a bunch of MoPars, back in the day. They are around - you have to look.

Basic math tells me that they are LESS than $45 for a set of 20.
That's for a lug nut you will never have to replace because of the warranty.

I don"t know where $180 a set came from.This set is $CAN68.95.

Don't bother with eBay lug nuts, unless you like rusty messes in a short period of time. I don't like the lug nuts with the sheet metal tops. I have had more than one separate, leaving the threaded part in place, and it makes for a real hassle getting that threaded part off. The solder joints that the sheet metal tops join the threaded part fail; it may be poor solder joints, or it may be due to the effects of road salt/chemicls, water and age. Solid nuts don't fail, and I don"t have to figure out a wat to get the threaded paer off.

McGard lug nuts are great.

I toss every lug I can that has the junk tin cap over them. And the chrome ones from EBay don't rust as long as you don't use an impact wrench on them. A socket on a braker bar is all that I ever use on lug nuts. Then just pop the socket onto the torque wrench and your done.

They were used on a ALL MoPars that had exposed lug nuts, back in the day.
Corrected.

The Lug nuts that came on these cars had the stainless cap on them (or I think they are stainless – not really sure).
They are a royal pain in the rear, and (in my opinion) worthy to be removed from car at very first opportunity and replaced with the other nuts (mentioned in earlier posts).
Personally, I prefer the one in top picture.

If you are really committed to using the OE style (but cheaply made), the OE part number is 6031535 (MSRP as of March 1, 2018 is $10.20 (US) each) - need 20x.

Note: I have some nuts I removed from my ’87 Dodge Daytona Shelby when car was brand new (again, to get rid of those as quickly as possible) and still have some remaining (or I think I do, still). I’ve used a few of them so don’t have a complete set.

If lug nuts are shiny, I don’t know of anyone who goes around and looks to see what kind of nuts you have.
After a couple of uses, the caped nuts (OE style) no longer look shiny, no matter how much you spit polish them.

I went to my usual parts stores website this morning and looked. They no longer show they carry the capped lug nuts any longer (good for them – one less headache for the consumer).
I bet a person could still order them from them (as a special order part).

They make a few different versions of the same nut (hex size, thread size and how tall) – but this design is the one you want.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-Pik-A-Nut-Wheel-Nut-1-2-20-Dometop-Capped-3-4-Hex-1-5-16-Leng-98913-1/151725514684?epid=110183280&hash=item23538b9fbc:g:iq8AAOSw-RhaaRZl&vxp=mtr
½” stud, 20 threads per inch, ¾” hex (wrench size) and 1-5/16” tall

I went to Dorman’s website to find their part number(s) – and only thing I found was the Metric version of the nuts. The ½-20 version appears to be discontinued (yah-hoo, about time!).
Typically Metric lug nuts have a small “M” stamped on them, somewhere.

The above listing on eBay must be old stock they are trying to pawn off on un-suspecting suckers, err customers.
