Introducing New Member: Dobalovr

As a regular over on FCBO finally found an excuse to join. Recently acquired this 80 Cordoba Corinthian Edition from the original owner who ran a Chrysler Dealer back in the day. Not my first J Body but its been a while. 121000kms needs quarter extensions among other things but glad to add to my C bodys and B bodys with this beauty.

Graham, what's the story on your new ride? Congrats!

Got a call from a former Chrysler Dealer (retired) who asked if I would be interested in his wife’s car. It’s a one owner 1980 Chrysler Cordoba Corinthian Edition. Been sitting in his barn in BC for the last 10 years. I picked it up for cheap (5 tanks of gas around here) and will be bringing it back to its 80’s former glory. Problem is I can’t get the fuel pump (new one installed) to pump fuel from a jerry can. Engine fires with gas poured down the carb so ignition is working. But 2 pumps later still no joy. Gonna install an electric pump just to get it running. Needs rear quarter bottoms replaced and trunk extensions otherwise its solid.

Nice! Hope to see a build thread one day. You really do need a bigger place to keep your fleet, been downsizing out here ie not adding to it :)

have you replaced the fuel filter?
Carb is likely very crusty and plugged up inside.
