Easy enough, just needs a bit of logical thinking for ones I wasn't sure about.

I dont understand why people fall for click bait the is not good for your PC, just like alot of news sites (click here for the rest of the story) or "Look at these new 10 fashions" and you get one per page until you keep clicking and clicking all along letting things roam in your PC.

I filter alot on my PC and through my routers firewall, and im 3x as fast and bug free as if I let things run wild.

Thats all, :)

39 out of 40!

I thought the Holden was a Mazda... the grille/headlight arrangement looks a lot like an old 626. Zoom Zoom... yeah, not so much.

Hey, that wasnt directed at you or anyone, just a general comment not meant to offend.

I thought it was a click for each page, all I could see is the "scroll down" but my filters block it.

You could see on my screen shot the last of ad websites that all loads on that page.

There are alot of things trivia related I see on the news site I go to that id like to see/read but dont.

Them dam ad sites put little bits of info/ads on pcs and pull off them at times in the same way tor works, little bits of bandwidth that translate into slower page loads and just a plugged up pc.

Im so rural I pay $80 a month for fiber internet at a vary low rated speed 10meg/5meg but manage to go fast and can stream on multi things without lag and thats with a bit older windows OS, Windows 10 simply sucks so many resources.

Not offensive or taken personally, and you're right, those clickbait sites can play hell w your computer... I generally avoid them too. Besides loading up your device with trash, they're tedious and universally disappointing.

I listen to Breitbart News on Sirius/XM (satellite) but I won't go near their website until they dispense w the stupid clickbait format.

The screenshot posted earlier lists several cookies detected by The Onion Router project, or TOR browser.

I've ran Autoversed through these three analysis: Bright Cloud, McAffee and Commodo and found no problems with the site.

In my haste I did not post the screenshot for the TOR browser. From the No-Script panel I've marked everything untrusted except for "autoversed" and "howstuffworks" and the page still functions properly. Your results may vary depending on your configuration and settings.

The "test" had a few incorrect, the 72 Gremlin was newer than that and it said that a Lincoln was a convertable that wasn't.

Yup. That Lincoln convertible looked a little off. Missed one question, #17.

Dammit, now I want to get on my other PC and see this "test"

Poly,

There is a difference between malware and adware and tracking.

You know when you type in a product in the search engine or you get ads and pop ups tailored to you, most of that is the amazon servers through amazon, so I block all that because ive on "normal" pc and the first two pages of a search as just bs links.

The Ubuntu fans got upset because a couple years ago they allowed amazon in to track and push products although im not sure if you still can but you can disable it.

Flippin facebook is integrated into so so much and is a bit harder to block out but you can and you can block twitter too.

Remember the company who used to track what people watched on tv? They have been doing it with web content forever. But you can block them too.

neilson.com - Robtex

If you use firefox, use lightbeam to get an idea of things linked together, you can block it then, but then I block them in my router before the even get to my pc.

As well if you not using to the free version of open dns is pretty good and lets you block the things you want to.

This machine is on Cloudfare DNS over Ipv6. Netbios over TCP/ disabled. But it's always something, a new megahack(Marriot). Billionaires from selling our personal info. Just plain dumbasses: Out of Commission: How the Oklahoma Department of Securities Leaked Millions of Files revealing 10,000 securities brokers name, add, ss# for starters.

Push the security to the max on the computer and the choice of websites that will work dwindles. So I guess we just find what works with as little risk and still enjoy the internet.
