Quiet Riot's Metal Health album comes to mind, so does the Pretenders' first album, I know I have more but can't think of them
 
Alice Cooper "Flush the fashion" 1980.
Oddball Alice does new wave kinda thing.

It's actually pretty darn good.
All songs are listenable and some are standouts.

Smashing Pumpkins remade (We're All) Clones.
I also like "Pain", and "Leather Boots"

Also has Davey Johnstone on guitars, who I believe plays on Elton John's "Love Lies Bleeding".

Davey Johnstone has played with Elton John's band for years. Believe he did some work with Meatloaf also.
