Where can I buy the little clip that holds the Wiper Linkage to the arm on the wiper motor? Mine has broke. I have a 77 Aspen R/T and this is my first F Body but I have owned 5 Dusters (1-70, 3-72's & 1-74) and every one of them had this same problem. I've looked online but I'm not even sure what the hell the things called. Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks Jeff

It should be a plastic grommet type thing that presses on. The Chrysler p/n should be 3799089. Not totally sure about the part number though. You can get them aftermarket (i.e. Dorman) but, I highly recommend getting them from the Chrysler dealer. They are still available. The aftermarket ones are made in China and,,,well,,,,you know what Chinese quality is like.
One trick to install the grommet is to put it in very hot water right before installation. Makes the job a whole lot easier.

I second getting them from the dealer. A lot more money then the Dorman, but in my opinion, worth it. I also recommend replacing all of them while you are in there.

Yes, more money but how many times do you want to do the job? Most times, a better quality part that costs more, ends up costing less in the long run.
If you do decide to replace all the bushings, it's a whole lot easier if you remove the entire linkage assy from the car and do it on the bench.

Try Classic Industries they would have them for A bodies which would probably work

I can recall seeing some older F-bodies with a 1-inch wide metal retaining clip, like this (Dodge part # 2580929):

This clip fits most of the older Chrysler products (and some older F-bodies . . . maybe).

I pulled the black cowl cover off my ’77 wagon yesterday, and it uses 4 of the plastic wiper bushings (like what Aspen500 posted). Beforehand, I would have bet $ it had a metal clip on it, at the wiper motor (but good thing I didn’t bet).

The last picture is with cell phone stuck down onto the cowl, looking towards the L/F upper door hinge. The arrow is pointing towards the front of car. Pay no attention to leaves/sticks/crud that I've been saving . . .

It has been a long-time sense I’ve seen a non-white/yellow plastic wiper bushing (see yellow circles, above).
