Yes it is for ale, wife thinks 5 old Mopars are a bit much!? So I will continue working on my 77 Volare premier wagon till it sells or sh decides 5 is a good number. I will do the wood grain with paint as it seems to work great as seen on U Tube. I have taken trim off many mopars over three last few decades but I have never taken any off without the old brittle plastic clips breaking. So I assume if I try these clips will do the same. I have never been able to find replacement clips , even from places like RT Specialties, etc. for anything and besides they never answer their phone!!
The trim needs to come
off!! and back on!!
Any ides, help?????

Not sure if this place has what you need but, they have a gazillion clips, retainers, trim screws, etc. Worth a shot I guess. I've gotten things from them before, mostly trim type screws, cage nuts, door panel clips, original style body bolts and nuts, etc. They only sell in a box quantity but for the price, it's worth having extras "in stock". Kind of tough to find what you're looking for on the site so, I usually just scroll through until I see what I need.

I`m pretty sure most of the white plastic clips have a part number on them. Google the part number if you find one.

Send me a PM with the year model and trim level and I can send you sheets with all the factory part numbers on trim, clips and such. On cars older than say 15 years old, I would say you might be able to save 40-50% of the plastic clips. My opinion is: if you already will need to replace 50-60% of clips, you might as well get all new ones (which will allow more give to ‘em anyway).
All of plastic clips Chrysler used at the time, does have the part number stamped on them. Metal clips are a different story. Also, you will not know how many or of which types to get, until after trim is removed.

Different note – I had to look far and wide to find a nice wagon without woodgrain. I’m not a woodgrain fan. If a woodgrain car fell into my lap, I would be working hard to get it deleted (yes, a much easier-said-than-done job). That would mean removing all the un-necessary clip nails (the term I use, that holds the clips in place) and such. Most of the lower half of trim is the same (woody or not).
