You would think the power loss on compression stroke would kill power. The Centrifugal force at the crank and pistons rotating has got to be a krazy number....
I like the idea and the car.

That is so cool. An engine that is it's own flywheel and it's own cooling fan. Kind of ingenius:cool:

That rotary motor is a trip. Nothing like the Wankel rotary for sure but it's really cool. I've been to the Harrah's museum and it's phenomenal.

That engine is very interesting, but would more properly be called a radial engine. There were a lot of these types of engines that were used in the early days of aviation. Later, in the 1920s, the crankcase was stationary and the crankshaft moved, due to the increasing power making for an engine that would vibrate things apart.
