How about some information on the car along with pictures.
IT IS AN NHRA STOCK ELIMINATOR CAR.
IT RUNS OFF AN INDEX OF 12.30 1/4 TIME.
BEST RUN TO DATE HAS BEEN 11.59 1/4 TIME.
POWERED BY A 360 ENGINE & A 904 TRANSMISSION.
CAR WEIGHT MINIUM IS 3638LBS, WE RUN IT HEAVY @ 3680LBS.
STOCK ELIMINATOR REQUIRES THAT YOU USE STOCK NON-PORTED HEADS, INTAKE & OEM CARB.
THE CAM LIFT HAS TO BE STOCK, YOU CAN PLAY WITH THE DURATION.
IT HAS A STOCK CRANK.
AFTERMARKET FORGED PISTONS & RODS AS LONG AS THE WEIGHT & DESIGN MATCH THE OEM.
NHRA WILL CHECK THESE!

WE JUST WENT THROUGH TEAR DOWN TWO WEEKS AGO.
OUR FIRST TEAR DOWN, ALL CHECKED LEGAL.

THE CAR HAS HAD AT LEAST 4 DIFFERENT OWNERS, INCLUDING US.
LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN A RACE CAR SINCE 1985.

That has a nice launch, both sides the same height.

Just curious how much you run the car other than division events? How much seat time/test and tune time you get?

My boy also bracket races a 1971 340 Demon.
Although this season, we haven't bracket raced that much.
We have tried to stay focused on the Stocker deal.
The week before the Topeka win, he ran the Stocker at our local track at a bracket race & won in it.
He has multiple local track championships & wins with the Demon.
He started bracket racing in 2006, won the high school championship in his first year.

That's what I'd like to do with my grandson. Get him in the car early and often.

Don't run it much, unless we are testing, then maybe a bracket race or two.
He won a bracket race @ our home track in Tulsa, before the Topeka race.
We have a 340 Demon bracket car that he normally races.

Would you happen to have a vid of your car running, im curious what the stock El cam sounds like with the oem lift and the long duration. Ive got one im just not sure ive the right vert/gear combo to make it work.

Just like any other long duration cam. The converter usually isn't off the shelf but tailor made to the combanation down to the axle gear, 5000+ stall.
