    8 1/4 Facebook Marketplace $200 Bangor PA

You can always put a limited slip into an 8 1/4", as long as it isn't one of the high geared ones (anything higher than 2.72:1, I think). It would have been a real help to specify the gearing on this differential. I'm not one of those who can figure out a gear ratio from a picture.

Just In Time - Manufacturing -- Food for Thought

If you have the models, grilles could be made with 3D printers in some types of plastics. Some of the higher end printers can print metal, or if there is enough demand, even go to MIM (metal injection moulding, a mix of wax and metal powder get injected into a mould, the shape comes out and then...

    Full page popup ad?

Is this on Safari? If so, consider using another browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.). If it still persisists, you either have a DNS or search engine redirect, or your Phone has been hacked. In those instances, you may want to consider getting a DNS redirector of your own (suggest 1.1.1.1), a...

    Build sheet

People may want to keep in mind that not all build sheets are under the rear seat cushions. They are (far less often) found in places like inside the headliner, as an example. So pulling out the rear seat cushion doesn't mean the car doesn't have one, it just may be in another place.

    GRANT STEERING INSTALL KIT

I think for our cars, the tillt wheels are from Saginaw (GM parts supplier), so a GM steering wheel adapter kit would be the right one. I don't know about the non-tilt wheels.

    The FMJ Weather Channel

It all comes down to what you are used to. Calgary just came out of a cold spell, where the daily high didn't get above -17C (about -1F). Today, it was almost summery at +4C (about 40F). I don't have a lot of issue with cold temperatures, but really hot weather gets to me (above 85F). I am used...

    Fusible Link Replacment

Spikes in cars come from the alternators themselves, or regulators, or can come from various electrical motors and heavy electrical loads (for example high power car stereo amplifiers) switching on an off. When a heavy electrical load switches off, it can cause the voltage in the car to...

    Project Bulldog. (1988 Diplomat AHB)

Some K-Cars have useful power brake boosters/vacuum cannisters that can be used to create a little bit more clearance between the top of the valve covers and the original brake booster.

    damper converter balance

Is it possible that the shortened driveshaft is out of phase? Also, if you have the original torque converter, you can try to re-install it and see if it makes a difference. 360LAs, being externally balanced, normally do have weights on the torque converters, and the B & M flex plate should have...

    Upgrades

Looks like whole front clip messed up or can it be straightened out and just the grille can be replaced. Its far easier to just repair the grille. Hard to tell if the whole clip is just bent, or if it has to be all replaced.

Warning about today's Gas and Carburated Cars.

Has anybody noticed any issues with the phenolic body of the TQ 4 Barrel and Ethanol? Its a question that has been floating around in the back of my head for a while. If ethanol can eat the older rubber fuel lines, does it do anything bad to the phenolic body?

    Rear leaf spring "tensioner"??

is it possible that these are traction bars of some sort? I don't see if the "tensioners" are going between the axle and the front leaf spring eye, or between the axle and the rear leaf spring eye. This part of the description is really confusing: "...shackle and the torsion bar and looks to...

    Best shocks for stock suspension

The F/M/J body transverse torsion bar front suspension was intended to have a "big car ride". The big cars (C bodies in Mopar Speak) were also softly sprung, huge beasts( i.e. the suspension was designed to be that way). To get that desired (by Mopar management/sales) ride, they created a...
