I'm looking to sell a 1979 Mopar Passenger Car Parts Catalog that gives all the diagrams and parts numbers. It also includes Lebaron, Aspen, and Volare models along with other models as well. I'm looking to get $40 obo plus shipping within the lower 48 states. The item is located near Cicero...
So, I was talking with a mechanic friend last night online and he told me he liked the M-Bodies better than the R-Bodies because he stated they had better quality compared to the R-Bodies. From what I see, I don't see a huge variation thus far but looking at that the M-Body is an improved...
If you guys want a bigger production car then look up a Cadillac Fleetwood 60 series or Fleetwood 75 series. I think the 75 series had the rear foot rests in them IIRC.
It depends as well. As I said I had really nice and wish I never sold it. I had a little money into but, hindsight I should of kept and added aftermarket fuel injection. What I bought to replace was a 79 Cordoba with a 360 and I still have that car because it is a nice car and the prior owner...
Thank you and as for the Mercury it is a cool car although I gotta say the seats in the Fifth Avenue are better than this car. Plus, this thing weighs nearly 5k pounds because of body on frame plus the drivetrain. Wish I could keep but, I'm making some life changes as I said and I'm familiar...
Justwondering thank you and yes I have already been searching craigslist. Right now the prices are pretty high given the mileage and condition on some. Some not so bad so I'll just wait and see.
There's a few out there right now. A New Yorker in California, one in AZ (donked out) and another near Chicago but, its kind of rusty. Like I said I won't turn down a decent M-Body at a decent price if it comes my ways but, I need to get rid of the Mercury or trade. Now to go one step further...
Justwondering, I'm located about 50 miles north of Indianapolis, Indiana. I was thinking while finding a lower mileage one would alright having one cared for is just as important as well. As I posted in another post I'm looking for an R-Body really but, would consider a decent M-Body as well.
As I posted in a few threads I'm looking for an either an R-Body or M-Body Mopar. In the R-Body area I'm mainly looking for a 1979-1981 Chrysler New Yorker or a Dodge St. Regis in decent shape and not rust. The other car I'm considering is an 1988 or 1989 Chrysler Fifth Avenue also in decent...
Thank you all for the information. The reason why I was asking these questions is because I have another M-Body on the consideration list. I miss mine and realized I should have kept it for what I paid. I got a great deal for a dang nice car and probably won't find it now. Mine was an '84 though...
