Aspen/Volare station wagon driveshaft lengths - 112.7" wheelbase

A lot of people don't have to shorten it between 8 1/14 and 8 3/4. It's not much of a difference.

FOR SALE eBAG - Carter TQ - 9800 series carb

I guess it was cached but I was seeing the original listing until I reloaded the page. Then I saw the junk one GTX John was probably seeing with no option to see the original. The other thing ebay is doing is being more vague with their search results.. look for a chrysler part and you get...

temperature light, 81 imperial. Frank thinks he has a fever.

I would guess that's probably it since I know I changed the guage but don't know if I changed that board or not. There's no danger, the guage is still accurate or at least mine was despite whatever makes the light come on.

My first mopar, and man I need some help!

Hood off, an engine sitting there... hmmmm. Having both GM and these cars that vintage there are things to love and hate about both of them.

temperature light, 81 imperial. Frank thinks he has a fever.

My 88 does the same thing. The first time it did it it freaked me out. Guage accurate, light not. Changing guage didn't help. I got used to it.

    troubles with Safelite.

It's probably one of those things that they deal with their own supplier who can't get it and being a chain they are limited to what they can do sourcing it on their own. It's not even a warrantee problem when it was damaged by them from the start It's their problem.

Push for your money back. They shouldn't have charged anything when they cracked it anyway.

FOR SALE eBAG - Carter TQ - 9800 series carb

I was considering it the second time around but got busy and missed it. I thought it was a good price. I still have those add on electric chokes I'm curious to try sometime.

    troubles with Safelite.

There are or were a few different companies making them. Mine is Mexican and the blue strip on the top is wider then any other I've ever seen.

    Fuel Sender Sock.

How far is it off the bottom? I've never paid attention to that and only dropped it in. I'd keep it a bit off the bottom, the gas will get mixed up anyway but when the sock deteriorates or falls off you don't want the pipe right at the bottom sucking in any sediment that might be there.

    Fuel Sender Sock.

When the metal tube isn't submerged. The sock is only a filter of sorts.

    Hair pulling transmission problem

With both having the same problem my first guess is also linkages and was going to mention what OCG said. I've never had a problem with the arm difference, I think I'm actually using one on my 727 off a 904 but never know what might have been changed over time especially if parts are hard to...

    1984 5th Avenue differential swap.

It would be simpler to swap out the whole axle, if you can get one where you are, and actually preferred because the 7.25 you probably have now isn't known for its strength. You wouldn't want to put a lot of time and money into the gear change only to have it grenade. Does your axle have a...

1984 5th Avenue light switch removal.

Remove the wood grain dash face- you can see the Phillips screws across the top and bottom of it that hold it on, then you'll see the screws that hold the switch in. Tilting the wheel down and putting the shifter in a lower gear without starting the car (and with your foot on the brake) will...

Rear Swaybar bushings and links source

Measure the link and check Summitt or the places that sel performance suspension parts. Like I said it's readily available. Or just buy one thsts too long and cut the sleeve to the right length. The bushing on the bar is a standard size also. If I remember and can get to my parts I'll find the...

It's a standard swaybar link kit. I don't know what the measurements or part number is offhand but they're readily available.

Battery suggestions for F body big block swap

After having problems with multiple Costco batteries, International and a bunch of others I've been using Walmart batteries and never had a problem. The oldest is 8 years old, just got one for my Crown Vic a couple weeks ago and will be buying an M body size one any day now. One huge plus is if...

    damper converter balance

No if it's out of balance you'd notice it all the time especially at certain speeds. If it's randomly doing it every few seconds sounds more like an ignition problem that it's dropping a cylinder or something.

    Brake light issues

Haynes is ok for these cars as it was based on a Diplomat. It's pretty much the only one I've ever had that's any good but yes if you're doing anything but very basic wiring work get a factory manual. They're not much more on ebay then the hsynes ones anyway.

    Project Bulldog. (1988 Diplomat AHB)

It probably would work you only need certain parts off it not the whole thing.

    A/C hoses?

With V8 and some of the /6 applications aftermarket hoses are available. You might be able to find something that works if the lengths are similar.
