    78 Aspen R/T 360 engine color?

I did see something somewhere that the valve covers may have been black on e58 engines.

    78 Aspen R/T 360 engine color?

I have a 78 Aspen R/T with a 360. Everything on the numbers engine block appears to have been black. Valve covers are black with an E58 sticker. All the literature I see says it should be blue. I have seen some pictures of another R/T with a blue engine. Anybody have an original painted...

FOR SALE AC Compressor Relay Kit - Plug and Play

Plug and Play AC Compressor Relay Kits are now available. The kit works on the same principle as my other relay kits, remove the heavier amp loads from the bulkhead and older/expensive switches our cars came with originally. The relay kits extend the life of the OEM switches via reducing...

FOR SALE Power Window Relay Kit - plug and play

An essentially plug and play power window relay kit. I use Tyco/Bosch relay exclusively, no low dollar pieces ever. I utilize as much US or North American (Canadian) sourced product as possible. I try to never use anything but US made wire, cost more, better quality. Kits are set up using a...

o in place of the x or j

No they can be used on any la block. Doubtful you have a pair as they are not common. Pushrod holes are at a fairly hard angle through the castings

o in place of the x or j

There are engines that have had an X and J or any variation of those letters straight form the factory over the years. I prefer to use the 894 X heads with another X. Any of the 915s with letters X O U J N will work together as long as valve sizing is the same. Not a lot of difference...

Plug and Play headlight relay kits

To control dimming of the headlights? I would not do that. The dimmer in the OEM switch controls dash lights and dome, IIRC.

Plug and Play headlight relay kits

Mike, All the kits are for the headlights only. No chance I'd try to duplicate the entire front/forward light harness. Too many wires and the factory wiring is fine when it comes to markers, turn signals, etc. Those lights, and dash lights, usually get brighter when this kit is installed...

Plug and Play headlight relay kits

Absolutely. There are a lot of benefits to reducing the load across the bulkhead. Thanks for the input. I'm building a kit for a friend with a 73 Cuda. His entire wiring harness is fresh from M&H. One person told him that the stock wiring is fine, I disagree. We are going to do a quick...

Plug and Play headlight relay kits

Headlight relay kits that are essentially plug and play. There is a substantial increase in voltage at the headlight, increasing light output performance. Light output degrades exponentially with voltage input reductions. These kits also take headlight amp loads off the fragile bulkhead...

Plug and Play Headlight Relay Kits

The kit is a plug and play deal for single headlight mopar. These kits also take the amp load off the fragile bulkhead connector and amp gauge. The only juice flowing through the bulkhead is the minimal current required to trigger relays. The kit would include: Bosch/Tyco dual 87 relays (no...

    Exhaust kits

As these 2 door cars are fairly similar in size to the Duster/Demon body cars, do any of the pre-made A body exhaust kits using headers fit reasonably well? TIA

New to the F body cars.

78 Aspen R/T, now has a pretty stout 1970 340, 727 w/ 3000 stall Hughes converter. It came with the original 360 that had a knock when pulled. Got the idle tune up closer. Waiting on edelbrock step up springs because the 508 cam doesn't make a lot of vacuum. Not a big ede carb fan, gonna make...
