No, you can remove the compressor. Do you want to go through the trouble of swapping the pullies and accessory brackets? “Also going away” As in removing the Air Pump and the AC Compressor? You can remove the AC Compressor and simply run a belt around the crank pulley to the alternator. No...

What to use for trans fluid I had an extreme amount of clutch particles (from the TC LU friction plate) clogging the filter several times in the above thread… As mentioned, you can disable the Lock Up function in the valve body. That’s what I did an the transmission worked for several more years.

Pictured is the hard plastic speaker cover piece, upside down. Notice the clips, especially the 2 that are closer to the soft dash pad. Simply use a flat screwdriver to pry in between the soft dash pad and the hard plastic speaker cover, in-line with those clips. Prying the plastic cover up...
