Volare Iso-Delete and shift seal trick

Well, among other things I did and needed to do, I have deleted the isolator bushings on my daily driver 1978 Volare. Following a video put out by Dutch Guys Garage, I made up some large washers to locate the axle on the springs and used B-body shock plates and shocks to attach the axle to the...

Radio Upgrade vs Addon - Bluetooth

8-Track Accessories They sell different 8-track adapters. I have their Bluetooth adapter for my car and it works great. I've been using it daily for about a year now, a couple of hours a day, and I charge it once a week. I don't know if I need to, but I just plug it in every Sunday to charge. I...

    Air Conditioning "Issues"

Heater is not leaking, verified no cracks, drain is sealed and free flowing. The entire box, top to bottom, is covered in condensation. Even has some build up around the vents on the way to work in the morning. My Dart did it too, but that was a knee-knocker in a car I didn't have carpet in to...

    Connectors behind radio

This car is fairly basic. Yes it has a radio, but it's an AM only. Plain 2 speed wipers, no clock, nothing all too special in it.

    Connectors behind radio

Currently swapping out my factory AM only radio for an AM/FM/8-track radio. There are these two connectors behind the radio that were unused from the factory. Anybody have any idea what they could be? Obviously for some option that my car does not have, I just don't know what that option could...

    Air Conditioning "Issues"

Not that I can see, no. My Dodge has a knee knocker and it does it too, just not as bad. Car does not leak in the rain, thankfully. Does it in the sunshine. Does not smell of coolant, doesn't run hot, and isn't losing coolant, so not a heater core.

    Air Conditioning "Issues"

I will order that and see what it does. And yes, we are entering rainy season. It's gonna be 50-80% humidity through November. I am also going to get the windows tinted, too. I was surprised when I hit the button that it worked. To my knowledge, it's never been messed with. The lines and...

    Air Conditioning "Issues"

I am running it on Max, but the doors don't seal that great. I've installed Metro door seals, and I've adjusted the doors to where they seal about 90%. I think I have to open them up and adjust the glass itself at this point. It's also a vinyl top car with opera windows, but currently no top, so...

    Air Conditioning "Issues"

So my Volare, I've been using it more and more as a daily driver with how much nicer it is over my Dart, and being we are in the hot season in Florida, I've been using the a/c. Yesterday, I made an eight hour round trip drive in the car and must've had two gallons of water on the passenger floor...

    WANTED 1978 Volare Grille

Well, I am in search of what pretty much everyone else is in search of: a good condition grille. Doesn't need to be perfect, just look decent and the hood release lever not be falling off. For my 1978 Volare. The car is a driver, not a show car. I am in the Sarasota, Fl area, but would drive...

    New guy here

The first five pictures were taken where it sat. The car was dirty and had a trunk full of water, but in great condition.

    New guy here

Hello everyone! Long time A-body guy here that just bought an F-body. Well, I traded a project for it that I was never going to finish. This beauty of a 1978 Volare had sat on the side of the office at a local junkyard for a number of years. The yard owner bought it from Copart with intentions...
