Does anyone know if a 10 inch wheel will fit on the rear of an F-Body stock rear suspension? I want the tire inside the wheel well

Will 8.5 inch fit on the front of an F-Body?

Thanks

I believe my buddy had 15"x10" with a 5" b.s. on his 79' Road Runner.
I would think 15"x8-1/2" is going to rub on the front.

I'm running 18x9 rims on the back of my car with 285-40-18 tires. I can't remember the offset though. Probably doesn't matter because my axle isn't factory dimensions. The rim and tire do fit though without one iota of space on either side. I will rub ever so slightly on the in the top of wheel well if it gets traction.

Keep in mind also, the rear seat belt retractor mounting protrusion when choosing tire size. That's usually where a tire will interfere with the wheelwell first.
On the front, clearance at full lock is a consideration. Can't say about 8.5" wheels but, I've got 15x7 with 4.5" backspacing with 235/60 and it only clears the subframe by 1/2" at full lock.
That probably doesn't answer your question though, but maybe it'll help.

10.5 305.x45x17 will be switching to 10 inch 295x40x18 so I can get a 200 plus ware tire

George, that stance is absolutely intimidating. Totally badass. I only wish I could go back and put the money into an RMS front end rather than the thousands I dumped in the factory setup.

You can get the 10” rim in the stock wheel well, getting it in with a tire takes a little finesse…
