I was looking at my local Pull-a-Part website to check on some parts for my pickup, and ran across this:

1958 Imperial
It should have a 392 Hemi and push-button 2 speed auto in it.
For what i can see under the hood (which is not much), I would say this boat anchor of beast of an engine is probably toast.

Does anyone know of anything that might be worthwhile to get off of this antique?
Note: they have this car down as being blue . . .

There might be enough steel in this to make 2 or 3 new cars, hehe

Definitely the front clip since it should interchange with 2drs. And MOST definitely that 392. Tail trim, interior trim, and dash, etc. This stuff is getting harder and harder to find.

The bumper chrome looks to be in good shape and the trim. Shipping cost on the bumper though...

I finally got a chance to lay eyes on this vehicle. it is a '59 and not a '58.

The sticker says "Golden Lion 383".
This is the First big block I've ran across with a draft tube (to Left of the sticker).
This is the RB-383 and not the B-383. The first time I've seen a RB-383 before.
It is also the first time I've seen a RB 2-bbl intake before. I heard they existed and this has one.

I thought the "Golden Lion" series were performance engines - which makes me wonder about the 2-bbl. Then, again, I am not knowledgeable with these older cars to say much. My Mopar knowledge starts on '66 and newer cars.

Chrysler used the Golden Lion moniker on their 383 & 413 engines from 1959 to 1962. The 383 2bbl version was standard on the bottom of the line Windsor.

The RB 383 was built because the B block wasn’t ready yet, apparently there was production issues and it didn’t appear until late 60 in early 61 models.

Not an Imperial. 59 Windsor ...side trim is a dead giveaway.
