76 volare windshield

Had a conversation with a guy who had one in Los Angeles (I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) about a windshield for my 82 base Mirada. He wanted $US395 for the windshield, not an issue. He said that shipping would be $US700 (sounded steep, but I couldn't find a windshield anywhere in Canada). So that was OK. Then he said that he couldn't guaranteed that it would get here intact. That was the show stopper. In essnence, I would be paying almost $US1100 for a broken windshield. Said no thanks. Ended up selling the 1982 Mirada shortly thereafter.

That's why I dumped my 82 Ttop mirada,no glass,no exhaust,no parts cars anywhere near me in Phoenix, which I found odd.. J bodies are PIA cars to get parts for..

I have another Volare with 15 x 7 and 215 x 70 f and 235 x 70 rear. Gives it a nice soft rake.

I had 255/70/15s on the back of mine at one time 225s on the front. The 255s made great smoke!

Main thing I look for is that the tire in rear does not get hurt from the wheel lip. Up front just being sure no interference any where. Lots of room in these F bodies.

Yeah I was thinking about 215/70's and 235/70's on the 15x7's...

However, I am hoping to replace my wheels later and run either a 275's or not 295's on the new wheels in back....

I used to street thrash with 295-s on 10 inch rims with 4:88s but on bracket night I run just a 8 inch slick on a 8 inch rim. This is the B5 Blue Strip car I posted on, but when we put the glass fenders and doors on the Black/Orange combo was more popular.

Rust Oleum? black from the gallon can sprayed with a fogger gun and Rust O rattle can stripe, didnt want to cut into beer money back then.

Ive some really nice all NOS 15X8/15x7 SC/Magnum rims and centers if anyone has some like new cheap steel sawblade rims laying around to trade. Or even Al or maybe a old weld convo?

These with nos centers.

Wow, except for the wheels and hood scoop, that is identical to my old 77 RT.......

What does those SC Magnum Wheels look like?

Look at the pic above or here.

2 are 15x8 2 are 15x7 Back N Front. Tires not included, but they have never seen the road.
