Air filter soaked with fuel???

Are you 100% sure the airfilter is FUEL soaked and not oil soaked. When the PCV line becomes blocked, the blow-by vapors travel up the other hose and dump right outside the filter, where the engine draws them in and you guessed it the oil gets filtered out. Over time the filter gets clogged and then the engine starts to run rich, which leads to oil dilution and then the vapors start to to contain gasoline. Eventually the crankcase is mostly filled with gas and the oil is in the muffler.
One backfire, and the pan or valve covers or something will blow off and then the car will be on fire!
