Lots more F's at Carlisle this year than just a few years ago. Here are pics of each that I saw on Saturday. This is a clear indication that Aspens and Volares are becoming more popular and desirable. Still, notice that all the F's in attendance are either coupes, or T-tops. I like that there were examples from pristine to works in progress. However, not a wagon or four door in the bunch. Humm, maybe next year I can have OY completed enough to show so that at least there will be one wagon. Hopefully more four doors and wagons in the near future. Congrats to everyone who brought their F to the show!! A beautiful display by everyone!

Nice pics there.

In the 80-s it seems F-s really hit there stride, im not sure when the mopar people seemed to turn there backs on them.

We used to line the up to what type of F there were so many.

One year we had 4 rows like this, maybe some day again.

I wanted to drive out in my wagon, but my son had his heart set on the Pittsburgh Vintage Gran Prix, this past weekend.

Very nice showing of F bodies. I was only there on Saturday with my wife`s car. Got to talk to Kevin, Johnny, Chris and a few others but since my time was limited I couldn`t stay at the car for long. I had to check out the swap and other stuff. Congrats to Kevin for 2nd place.

I had the honor of digging into Chris' parts stash he had in his trailer, and dug out an NOS grill for the 80 RR!!!!! Also did some brainstorming with him on how to eliminate the problem of no center caps for the 79-80 alum road wheels. More on this in the near future.

That's an interesting thought. I don't know either, although it's been true for many years. Might be the whole "Ugh, '70's malaise" BS haters love so much. It does seem though that F's and also M's and J's are finally becoming more popular. Seems like people can get stuck in a certain era, and don't want to even try to appreciate anything newer.

F bodies are becoming more popular because the other mopars have priced themselves out of reach of most .

Sorry I didn't get to see your car in the line up on Saturday. That would have made 16! Looks like a really nice coupe.
I was not happy about leaving Friday night. Stressed about work and folks doing a 1/2 effort causing me more stress. Now I have to unscrew their colossal screwed up effort. I want to retire @ 50 and not deal with folks who can't hold up their end. I'll catch up with you next time.

Love the pics, hate that the chances of me being there were slim to none, actually only one chance, none.
I think F-bodies are starting to come around a bit more than in the near past. Like XfbodyX said, in the '80's it was different. Might have been because so many were still on the road and not a pile of rust in the scrap yard. By the early '90's, 9 out of 10 were long gone already (in this part of the country) and they sort of became forgotten. We do still have to deal with what I call the Mopar snobs. You know the ones. If it wasn't built between 1964 and 1972, it's not a "real" Mopar. Oh well. Their loss!
