Ok so my car is originally an auto trans and I have everything accept the clutch linkage, making this car look original is not the plan I just want it to be functional and look great. so I am going to go the easy route and install a hydraulic clutch. I looked online and the hydraulic throwout bearing kits are WAY out of my price range. I did however find this and was wondering if anyone had an even cheaper way to go.
The master cylinder is a willwood internal reservoir they have remote reservoirs for the same price around 60 dollars
the next piece is the slave cylinder and it is made by HOWE and is around 45 dollars it is a "pull" type so I would have to make a braket..no problem.
to tie them together I found this kit for 32 dollars.
I just would like to know if there are other options because I know a OEM slave cylinder from autozone could be cheaper and so other parts might work just as well and not cost as much. Lets see what we can come up with.
