Hello All,
I've been going around in circles trying to figure out which version of Dodge automatic I have.
The know it came from a 1995 Dodge Dakota pick-up with the 318 V8. The number on the side of the rail for the ATF pan is;
PK5211832421083192.
Depending on which website I go to it is either an A500, A518, 42RH, 44RH or 46RH which is a royal PITA. Makes sourcing any parts difficult.
The transmission is currently at my brother's place about 2,000 km (1,200 mi), away so I can't physically check anything. I do have a number of pictures if that helps the detectives out there.
Looking forward to the feedback.
