measurements I used to install. derived from numerous photos/reference materials. this is what I used for the images above, measure a bunch of times because the punched holes in the package tray are not parallel/possibly different on your application. The outfitters roughed these in, I probably over-thought the whole process

Looking at the trunk pics it seems like they picked that location to mount the lights because further out you're into a hole with no metal and further inward you're into overlapping metal and the speaker. So really only one spot to install them.

Never occured to me that your car has a 3rd brake lamp. Disregard my suggestion to run a wire up to the switch. The wire is already there, lol.

exactly what i needed! thank you so much. even the measurements! those black connectors are just an extension not a factory plug? then one black wire from each lollipop on either side goes into one of the two white wires to the third brake light? or both into one? appreciate it!

say... you were at Carlisle. are you the guy who sold me these?
I was at Carlisle, but not the guy who sold you these. The black connectors are something I bought to make it appear 'more factory', whereas the previous cars I've had just have a butt connector crimped on (from the outfitters). For the wiring, I tapped into the factory 3rd brake light wiring, you'll just need to determine which wire goes 'hot' when you put the brakes on. The spacing I put on the lights was based on older photo's I had seen and recall from my old NYSP cars. They were typically 'out' pretty far, but as you can see if you go too far there's no metal to mount the light. I will try to find those pics next...
