LOL...as the title says: is there any easy way to do this?
These are old mounts, I figured I would try out POLY engine mount bushings for the stroker build and really didn't want to hack up my very nice factory setups that have all of 10 seasons of summer driving on them.
Anyways, so I dug through my boxes, freed up a "save these for later" set of mounts, cut off as much of the rubber as I could, but what a PITA job this is.
So here is the thing: I have a pretty nice hydraulic press standing by (Old Betsy as I call her), 5" piston, the pump tops at 1500 psi, so that gives me about 29,500 psi total pressure and following all the conversions (someone check my calculations here) I'm thinking that's about 14 Ton press. Should be plenty enough to just push the darn biscout out...no?
