Rattle can. That 2k stuff???

I'm not a pro but....
Yes....you can just go over the old paint.
Scuff the crap out of it first.
My primer choice would be grey self etching primer.
Sticks like glue and hides a fair amount of blemishes.
Any reputable auto paint supplier should be able to make spray bombs of any color you want including factory colors.

After my Caravelle was done in the booth I got a couple of cans of the same color made and shot my rims with the rattle cans.
Looks great.

Before you sand, use a good wax and grease remover and scrub several times over, or you will embed oil and grease in the paint and it will show in the final with bubbles and fisheye.

Cleaning, degreasing, wash rinse and repeat. Waiting on the 2k primer to arrive.

Trying to consolidate the new parts. Spread all over hell and creation.

Only hold up for getting the front suspension on is the engine bay.

Can't wait to get the short block to the machine shop. That's a few months away, however. Still a few more calls to Mancini.

The street demon was probably not necessary. I have a Sizzler TQ and near new 750 Edelbrock as a back up. I am really on the fence with the headers. I'm set up for headman tight tubes, but I'm looking at TTI's. Advantge of the shorties is it still leaves a lot of room to work around. I've talked with Passion about a 1:1 A833, but again on the fence. The OD trans cruises real nice with the 3.23 gears and I like it.
