Hey guys - we were chatting in a thread about my convertible about the unicorn 300. I new that some LS parts I bought were from a parted 300 and I finally found the pics in my computer.

There were no true 80 300s however a few cordobas and Miradas came with the E58 option. They were going to make a 300 and even made emblems date coded 1980 which I have as well but it was a bad time for Chrysler so they scrapped the plan. BTW I used to live in Schodack off of Sand Rd ( Angelo Drive!) Small world!

i had a 80 LS 300 way way way back in the day. probably in the 1996-98 years. it was red with red interior.

Always liked those body styles and the thought the interiors were really sharp too. And one of those with the E58, NICE!

I like your LS in red, even the nurf strips, I bet those are hard to find. How many different colors of nurf strips were available in 78-79? Black, white, red, tan,? any others? So the 80 300 emblem looked like the 79 emblem used on the tail lights and door panels with out the special edition lettering?

Yes, the nose emblem is the same without the special edition text. There were also matching logos for the wheel centers. Finding the 80 nose emblem is impossible. I may adapt one of the wheel emblems.

I've got loads of 1980 LS medallions NOS

grille, wheelcover and the 3 color Qtr panel medallions

PM me
