grease gun for ball joint

Now that I've got my money for the month what kind of grease gun and what kind of grease do I get to grease the ball joint that was welded: I think I lost a ball joint

Any automotive grease gun will do.
But welding it was a temporary fix. It should be fixed properly before it needs be greased.
