What is the best fitting headers? I want to put a set in the wagon, nothing expensive as it’s just my beater to putz around in.
i used TTI with my black car and fit well but to much $ for the wagon. i'll have a look into the hookersI have used three separate header products:
1) Headman (78050) - that's basically your bare essentials
2) Hooker (5901) - these I still have, overall better build, thicker flanges and pipes I believe, I got these ceramic coated
3) TTI (340BEW2-17835C0) - that's my W2 stuff, the only one that fits around the suspension pieces, expensive but well worth it, also ceramic coated
Not sure what the pricing is like these days for the regular stuff...but I'm thinking you can't go wrong with the Hooker tubes.
I think some of the guys have run the shorty pipes as well, maybe that's an option?
saskatchewan to michigan is not that far lol 24-27 hrs or 2500 kms lolOf course you're on the other side of the continent from me. I've got a pair of used, but in good shape Hookers I'd just give you.
....wow, phrasing.....
Wow...you don't say...b/c you know, I would never accept a used Hooker in a poor-shape!...I've got a pair of used, but in good shape Hookers I'd just give you....

no worries. thanks. If the parts were smaller I would. It's just too much of a PITA to find the appropriate box and packaging, sorry.
i will have to check them out. thanks.Doug's D-453 fit incredibly well
i looked at TTI just for fun.....yep can't do it!Best fitting, TTI.
I use a set of Cheap A-Body headers from Summit racing, they work just fine for being $160 option (or they used to be, idk what they cost now) and a set of multilayer aluminum crush gaskets and haven’t had any leaks or complaints. Sure they have kissed a few speed bumps, sure the drag link runs through primary on the drivers side, but so do about all of them outside of TTI.
