How streetable are Caltrac's?

How streetable are Caltrac's? Does anyone have personal experience?

Saw something on a 74 Dart when we went hunting the 72 Challenger down last month. The Dart on his property had some type of cal-track or comp track set up. I did not have a camera, but it was an 8 /4 on leaf springs. These trac bars had adjusters of some big lag nut. so one could adjust the tension on rear hop or perhaps rear end roll/ twist. Like eric said, the ride is tough, but if you can adjust them, maybe you can get by. I would believe shorter wheel base cars would be a much rougher ride.

Caltracs are streetable, no doubt about it, just a lot firmer ride.

If I run them on the Imp, I would like a semi civilized ride. I love the car for what it is, the ultimate sleeper! Full on Grampa ride with enough grunt to have unsuspecting adversaries soiling their skivvies! Thanks much, Larry

I would run caltracs on the street. It's not that bad of a ride.
