That is a juiced slant NOT located in Australia. Well done.

And oh man those 68 marker lights.

Thanks guys! Is it more common in Australia to run the slant 6's on the bottle? I'm curious now. Half the reason I wanted the car was because it had a built slant 6. I have a thing for 6 cyls that put out v8 power :D.

My apologies if this post gave you any expensive ideas... just be sure to take pics/video.
Andddddd there goes my bank account haha.

I'm curious to see what this car will do at the dragstrip as is though. As far as I can tell, internally its bored .060 over, has a cam, td roller rockers, and uprated valve springs... I'm considering pulling the head to see if the valves are oversized and what kind of pistons it has... my boroscope can't see in there very well to tell.

Thanks for the video. And the info on that though. The hemi 6 sounds like an awesome engine

Hmm, where in Upstate NY are you? I have two slants in my barn, a 170 and a 225, just sitting collecting dust. Both ran well when removed a few years ago. You can have them if you want to come get them. The 170 has a 2bbl intake as well. Both have working transmissions as well.

You have to watch out here for the guy that's done it all and knows it all, he even thinks a header on a slant six is a waste of money. :)
I like your car /6 and all!

I'm a few mins outside of albany, where abouts are you? I may be interested in them. Just gotta come up with something fun to put them in...**glances at MGA roller that's sitting on the lift**

Oh dont worry I'm desensitized hearing that all the time from the V6 truck I just built haha...I swear I've heard "why didn't you v8 swap it" more times than I can count lol.

The first hotrod six I heard I was hooked, it was a Chevy inline 67 Camaro 4 speed. I was made from left over 327 pistons and parts. The sound was awesome.

Hmm, sounds like an interesting project! I live in New Kingston, but the barn is in Walton, 13856, about 100 miles from Albany. I'd like to see them go to someone who will put them to good use, and it sounds like you might be able to do something with them.
