You're bringing back memories. I drove my Cordoba through seventeen crappy winters, before it became a fair weather car. It never let me down, oh wait a minute, there was that issue of carburetor icing!

Understood....it's good it will live on in parts and spirit.
I was never huge on Fifth's till I bought one.
After four years.....think it's been four...I love the thing now.
The flying brick.....most dependable ride I've ever had.
Actually I daily drove my Caravelle when I first got it for about two years
The only time it wouldn't start....it was just a corroded starter relay.
A quick scrub with some sandpaper I found buried in my trunk and I was on my way.....damn reliable cars.

my father in law bought it for 150.00 about 10 yrs ago with bout 150.000 miles, it now has 266,000 miles and only engine work was i put timing set in last year and a used puter, still has a average compression of 155 and bout 15-17 mpg hiway. he had a ball joint put in and a upper a arm broke at the ball joint so i put in a used 1 and alinged it by eye.

it will donate the drivetrain-318-904-8 1/4 and front k frame, dash top and front and a few other things this spring

i should just do a total swap of drivetrains. put the v8 in volare and the /6 in the 5th
