There seems to be a recent trend of asking absolutely ridiculous asking prices on M bodies lately. Fifth Aves in particular.

My theory is that dad has a nice old Fifth, kicks the bucket and his lazy ass misinformed meth fueled offspring have perused the Internet and have concluded that any old Chrysler product is worth it's weight in gold.

Here are a few recent examples.

In the #1 spot we have this example.

$15,900!!!
I nearly spewed tea out of my nostrils looking at this.

Second place goes to this brainiac.

$10,000

Third place for our Meth awards goes to this winner.

$7750 (down from $8000)

Now I understand that M prices are on the way up but I can only attribute these prices to idiotic kids who've never bothered to get a realistic grasp on what these cars are really worth.

This I believe sums it up nicely.

Good price and looks decent.
I paid $600 for mine.

33,000 miles, starts, won't stay running... looks a lot better than mine... I shudder to think what wifey would do if I brought another project home... still tempting :eusa_think: ... :evil6:

Leather seats in all of them...no thanks. I've got to have the Kimberly cloth interior.

Last fall there was one for sale around here (a 5th), think it was an '88(?). Darn nice car, well taken care of, no rot out and only a couple spots of surface rust on the bottom of the front fenders, and even had brand new winter tires on plain steel rims. The summer tires and wheels were included. Had a 318 and all the goodies. If I remember right it was under 100,000 miles. Asking price was $1,495. I seriously considered it BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just couldn't get past the 4 door thing. Guess I'm a 2 door guy.

That is more than METH. That is some real hardcore hallucinogens. One can only wish the pipe heads O.D. and the cars go to County auction and some FMJ hobbyist grabs it for a few hundred.
