I have no remorse, no guilt, and no bad feelings killing a feral hog.
They have several litters a year and anywhere from 9 to 14 in a litter.
They crowd out the native species, root up and kill the native habitat, and cause extensive erosion.
I can say that I prefer to kill them from a distance.
Buddy of mine uses mules and dogs to chase them, then sticks them with a knife.
Too close and too much adrenaline for me.
