In Chicago this will end up being a ‘ no fault ‘case. Everyone failed to control their vehicle to prevent a collision, both will pay their deductible if they want their car fixed and you’ll have to take it to small claims to recoup damages from the at fault party.

Yeah looks like they were both at fault from that video. The chrysler guy shouldn't have gone straight to the left lane but at the same time you could tell that was about to happen so the other diver should have slowed down a bit. If it was a second or so later it would be all on the chrysler driver because the other guy would have been further ahead.

Did a 250 mls roundtrip today with a friend to a drag race.
We met absolute normal people, that was cool (in real as well, approx only 50F and a slight breeze).
Anyway, lots of rubber and gasoline in the air.

I noticed that little VW Type 3 Notchback next to yours. I don't think there are many of those around anymore. I was looking at a same color Fastback I found on Marketplace this morning. VW at one point in my life had my heart till I drove a Fifth Avenue for the first time, then I've been a Mopar guy ever since, but I do still have a soft spot for the old Bug too. I was going to restore one with my Grandpa. He taught me how to drive that thing when I was 11.

My grandfather had that quote printed on a 8.5x11" sheet of paper that sat under the lid of his toolbox he used to take to work everyday. I found it, laminated it and placed it back in the toolbox. I use that box out in the garage now.
