One last winter driving the Murder Mobile. Picked up the Christmas tree with the wife and boy this afternoon.

Well, looks like it'll be a white Christmas.

10-12" of wet snow overnight, on top of the 1/4" of ice from yesterday's freezing rain. Gee, yesterday the ground was pretty much bare. I liked that better!

Random pics from behind my house.

Just hit the market in Illinois.
60 miles from me. My wife said, absolutely not.

I got 1 of those out of a salvage yard once back when I demo derbyed. That was 1 tough car. It went 5 hard hitting derbies before my son cut the core support and pulled the motor & tranny out of it. I'd love to have 1 for a driver.

Likewise. After some prodding, the guy updated his listing to include that the floor and most of the undercarriage is gone. If it was solid, I’d have risked taking some lumps from my wife and brought it home, lol

Undercarriage is gone? What, it was a Wisconsin car most of it's life? lol
Basically. Illinois car, seems like it was used as a winter tank for some time before the floors rusted out.
Guy says it runs and drives, just got soft brakes and lack of floors lol even the rear bumper is about to split from scooping up so much salt/snow over the decades.

Have the wife’s blessing to buy a truck…thinking of picking this lil fella up and dropping the 5.9mag I have in the garage into it and building a flat bed for it. Threw a rod so guys letting it go for a song. I’ve been itching to put together a drift missile lately.
