Just perusing CL and ran across this car. I can't believe it still exists. Aside from the wheels and some aging, it looks the same as I remember from the late 1970's. Last time I saw it, at least 30 years ago, it had Keystone Klassics (what else?) Didn't have the lovely seat covers either, lol. Gotta love those '70's customs!

A few random pics from around the city to bore you.
#1 is more or less the center of downtown Wausau. Must be a concert tonight it appears.
#2 is behind channel 7 studios, I think. Rib Mt. in the background.
#3 is (obviously) from the top of The Dudley Tower looking west across the Wisconsin River
#4 is from the top of the broadcast tower on top of Rib Mt looking NNE.
#5 is from the air, the I39-Hwy51-Hwy29-Hwy52-52 Parkway interchange thingy. Yeah, I got lost in that once, lol.

There was some guy on the news a couple days ago that lives in an outlying town who STARTED flying a Confederate flag, just because he thought the whole thing was just plain stupid. I salute him! I agree, the whole thing is stupid and why all of a sudden? Bunch of PC bullsh*t. Wonder if the other channel, I think it's CMT, will keep showing the Dukes. Country,,,,,,,,,,I bet they will.

Before we get way off on a tangent,,,,,,,,,,,,lol, here's some random pics. It's the daily driver '96 Dakota Sport. Was going to replace it (with a car) but never found anything I like so may as well keep it a while yet. Heck, I've owned it for 18 years, what's another couple. Runs flawless, trans works perfectly, the air blows ice in summer, the heater blows fire in the winter, not a squeak or rattle to be heard...............The more I look at it, it's not all that rusty relatively speaking. 95% of the old body style Dakotas are gone and even the next style ('97-'03) are far and few between anymore. 146,000 miles and still going.

Aspen500, nice truck.
My 07 Ram has been giving me problems with a no start condition. Cranks but no spark, has fuel PSI in the rails, not throwing any codes, I replaced the cam and crank position sensors. Traced it down to the superchargers piggy backed computer having corrosion on some of the pins. I unplugged the tuner and put the stock belt on for now...

Nascar pulled the plug on Bubba driving his General Lee Charger as a pace car back in 2012.
Nascrap and Bubba have become more PC (Politically Correct) as Nascrap has implemented a trade an American flag for a Confederate Flag policy and Bubba wants to remove the Confederate Flag from his Charger. While its his car and he has the right to do so, keep in mind he has one of the original TV show cars. Why change now?
