Cam is pretty high lift 575/575, mopar purple..so what you are saying I’m going to turn a nicely put together set up for an engine and choke it out completely, not good…didn’t think the manifolds would kill it that bad, ok convinced that the header route is the only way to go..guys, thanks for your input, I’ll be posting and needing advice throughout this project..very much appreciated…thanks, Jim..

That appears to be a pretty "healthy" combo...a def "no-no" as far as trying to choke it with some factory exhaust manifolds.1978 dodge aspen, 8.75/391 gears,727/9 inch converter 3500 stall,10:5:1 comp,Ross forged pistons,eagle h beam rods,was holley 830 now 800 edel avs2,mopar m1 intake,crane roller rockers, cam mopar purple shaft number 4120655
Take a look at the attached Installation Instructions....will the Hooker 5901s clear all obstacles such as the starter, streering column, and any other things that are in the way that can interfeer...if the 5901s can do this I will buy them, I have to make a move quick..78 Aspen, column shift, 727 auto…Please let me know..
