The 88 5th ave runs very strong and never let me down but it's time to build my Studebaker and I want the 318 and other parts. I put on a 4v intake hei ignition and duel exhaust. What's it worth?

No rust. Just a little worn out. Rear axel is clunking and the headliner is gone. That kind of stuff. Runs like a champ. Smoke the right rear tire through all three gears. Hence the rear end clunk. The stude is cool though.

hmmmm. no rust. i can't imagine junking a fully running not rusty car. i'm sure if you look hard enough you can find a running junker out there. of course also the question of how attached are you to your Fifth?

Tough call. I'm leaning towards sell. Both issues identified are not unexpected. The axle cannot handle that power. I do not believe any fabric on foam headliner from that era survived.
Do some research on other engine options for the Studebaker, maybe a Magnum, maybe a factory fuel injected 318. What about the transmission?
You may be able to pull the engine and still sell the 5th.
