I'm going to try a set of Hooker Show Tubes (the top ones in Mega's post) On my new wagon when she gets her Sport Wagon lingerie set and sport mirrors. Just adding new shoes changed her attitude a bunch!

I have some pictures on my old computer of some side pipe or rather laker pipes. Most are from a Van forum I belong to. One trick is to cross the pipes. That is, take the passenger side exhaust and connect it to the driver side side pipe and vice versa. Also, for lowend torque, use a "u" pipe to balance the exhaust from the right bank to left. I have heard the sound from the "u" pipe and it is sinister sounding from a virtually stock 318 LA on a 77 Street van.
I dig the fatter laker pipe over the skinny side pipe. But I'm really looking to do a zoomie 4 pipe out of each side on my Volare. As difficult as it was to put my true duals over my rear axle, any alternative would be my next move.

note: vans have a bunch more underside realistate, but keep in mind, their motors are further in the chassis so full length headers require a greater amount of back tracking with an "S" pipe
