Rain was predicted here for the last 5 days. None fell. The weatherman gave up on it finally, and tomorrow's supposed to be upper 70s & sunny. Wish I had the day off...

not been one of the warmest summer's ever, it's only even been close to 90 once so far, we're usually pushing triple digits by now. they're starting to say this winter could get ugly. the last time we didn't hit 90 in july there were record lows, like -30 F.. may need to fix some of those drafts in the house!

I took tomorrow off to help a neighbor change a hub on his Caravan. It's supposed to be mid-'80s and sunny, so we're going to start early. That should give me a good solid day organizing the basement & garage afterward, so I can move at a more-relaxed pace than this "run my ass off for an hour or two after work" nonsense of late. As usual, I started too many projects at once and slowly ate up precious space...

I feel your pain on the after work crap.
I need to do bodywork on my Fifth and at this point I'm going to blow some days off and do it at the trailer so I have no interruptions.
This working for a living really gets in the way of my car repairs....

And now this deal comes up on a 8 1/4 sure grip rear with 2.94's...perfect for my Caravelle.
But where the hell am I gonna put it???!!!

I'm kind of a wierdo, I like it when it either gets over 100* and you can't even walk in the sun, you have to run from one shady spot to the next.. aaand when it gets below zero, you can feel the boogers freezing in your nose every time you take a breath, and shocks, steering, starters, etc. feel just a bit stiff until you get some heat in them..

Sunny and gorgeous here today.
I wanted to pull out the Caravelle but there's a huge festival going on here
I went out to do some errands in the Fifth and after witnessing the droves of primates driving around I think tomorrow might be a better option.
Doesn't make for a pleasurable driving experience if you're constantly worried that someone is going to cream your car.......

I think someone swapped Canada for the tropics.
Been hot and humid here for a while now....like wet Florida humid.
